Want to become a contributing member for free?

I've recently taken over a small sports forum, there really isn't much traffic and I'd like to jump start it. So now through September 15th I'm offering free contributing membership (on VB) to people who post on the sports forum.

All you need to do is post 50 times on the sports forum and you'll get 3 months of contributing membership on VB for free.

Once you reach 50 posts pm me on the sports forum (be sure to include your VB member name) and I'll add you as a VB contributing member for 3 months. If you're already a contributing member I'll extend it by 3 months.

Obviously the posts must have some substance but they don't necessarily have to be sports related, they can be in the off-topic forum.

We're also getting a fantasy football league going if you're interested you can pm me there.

OMG...the worst possible subject for me...sports! :( Not that I'm concerned about the free membership...I would have liked to help jump start it regardless but I'm pathetically ignorant when it comes to sports...unless it is the 1969 METS....I went to their welcome home dinner and got autographs from Nolan Ryan, Gary Gentry, Duffy Dyer and Cleon Jones.

Not that this affects me because I'm a CM through being a mod, but I wonder if people can post-slut on the sports forum and get their VB-CMness that way... ;)

I may be able to post on that forum and get 50 posts , sure, but is this right? should i feel bad doing this...wouldn't me paying you actually be better?

How does this work out? just so i know im not screwing you.


Oh and it may be good if people also Stumble the site or similar depending on what they do ; Technorati , Twitter, Stumbleupon, All that social bookmarking and sharing stuff.
