Well, my problem is that before 2 years ago, I was eating like a real criminal.. i was eating anything at anytime.. a big beef steak and fried french chips.... i like anything oily and tasty.. but when i "converted" to a more healthy lifestyle, my weight did not decrease that much... i was practically obese and now i'm only 14lbs overweight.. i know i should be rejoicing but i'm not as i will be having health complications if i go on like this.. my parents are both diabetics and i fear getting diabetes problems.. I've been looking online and found at http://www.drugdelivery.ca/s3729-s-XENICAL.aspx that xenical is a diet pill.. there are NO ingredients listed, can anyone tell me where I can get a vegan diet pill? I'm trying to lose weight by myself but i don't have time to exercise at all! Please try to help me! :(
Also i'm having other problems.. At first I became vegan as a disgust to the ways animals were treated, but now i'm MORE involved and was thinking, what can I eat and what I cannot eat?? Some of my "unsure" list are:
cheese [been excluding this for 2 years]
milk [using soy milk for 2 years but i don't know]
eggs [i've eated twice or thrice for 2 years]
that's all I think.. Sorry for such a long post! :worried:

If you went from 'obese' to only 14 lbs overweight, it sounds like you are doing something right! Weight loss should be slow so that you will have an easier time keeping the weight off. Cheese, milk and eggs are ok, in moderation. Your diet should include lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, beans/legumes and whole grains in the form of breads/cereal/rice/pasta.
Sorry I don't know of any vegan diet pill. I wish you would reconsider taking one and just keep on trying to do it yourself through healthy eating habits and some form of exercise. You can start out slow, even if you go for a 10-15 minute walk or do some form of pilates at home. Any activity is better than no activity, IMHO. Good luck! :)

diet pills are short-term and will likely cause you to gain back MORE weight once you stop taking them.
As karen said, you must be doing something right. Cheese, milk, and eggs are relatively calorie-dense for the volume you get. 100 calories are in a 1-inch square cube of cheese! Use those items sparingly (an egg a few times a week is fine) and look at other items to keep you full...
I have always found it helpful to do a "calorie check" to see what my caloric intake is over a few days. That will tell me if I'm eating too much or too little and help me adjust. I've used both fitday.com and calorie-count.com and found them both to be quite useful.
Basically, eat a reasonable amount for your height & weight, and exercise about 5 times a week, ensuring you're getting both cardio and resistance training. A 500-calorie-per-day deficit will get the weight to come off.

i just found this site a few days ago, i find it helpful: www.calorie-count.com. It has lots of tools to tell you how many calories you are burning and how many cals are in the foods you eat. If you join as a member you can post in the forums too for fun- it could use more vegan/vegetarian members
studies show that even 10min bursts of cardio throughout the day help in weight loss.
Check out that site and find out how many calories you need to lose weight with the amount of activity in your lifestyle (it is based on height, current weight, body frame size and goal weight)
try to eat less breads and more vegetables as well
good luck!
