so guys, I have been running for over 12 days straight now. I started at running for 5 minutes.. and I remember a week ago I thought it was world news when I got up to 15 minutes. After staying at that time for a few days, I am now up to 25 minutes of running. I ammm running on a tredmill, but I found that staying at 5.6 and then increasing my speed to 7. whatever really boosts up my energy. Even when I thnk I am getting tired, I just do a one minute fast sprint, and go into a power walk for one minute and then run for over 5 minutes straight at a pretty fast running pace.

So- one question..
overall im feeling great. I feel that my heart is healthier ( just noticing the difference in how i feel when doing simple things, like climbing a few flights of stairs to work.. it is easier now). ** So when will I start to notice physical change... (leaner stomach, muscles in thighs and calfs..etc) I am pretty lean at 118 pounds, and 5'6" but I definitely am not toned. S when does it usually start to show? A month? Two months? Threee???

Sorry, I don't know. It took a while for me to see any change, but I was not really keeping track of how long.

the physical changes depend on the person, so its not a calculated thing.
For me I changed pretty much instantly, but this is only because i'm 5"3 and well adapted to any exercise. Thats why I thrive on it.
For my mum and sister however, it took them months to notice any toning, but this is because they are significantly more unfit than me.

Generally, the less fit you are to start with, the longer it takes for your body to adapt. Dont be put off by this. I believe its more important if you feel good rather than look good.

It will depend on how much "burn" you put in. What I mean is the burn in your leg muscles. I do think that a mix of steady long distance plus shorter sprints in between will burn more than just one type of continuous running. I would estimate 1-2 months, or less.

I got the best results from running stadium steps (~1 hour each time), which is a bit challenging to begin with. After about 3-4 times doing 1 time a week I had rock hard legs. The amount of burn I got was that it was hard to stand up and walk afterwards.

It depends mostly on what your bodyfat percentage is. For someone who is about 25% it would take much longer to see any muscle definition. You also need some muscle to see definition, or else all you'll see is bones. I would include some light weight training into the mix. Running every day may also not be such a great idea as your body changes on rest.
