Yes, I cannot believe I did it, but I did. My best friend and I are auditioning in a playboy casting call August 22 at 11 am at the Westin, In indianapolis, IN.

WHAT HAVE I DONE?! :wall:

At any rate. I would like to look halfway decent and not laughed out of the interview/perverbal stage....so....I need to drop a few pounds....quite a few pounds.

Any ideas on how to do this? I have about a month. :dizzy:

Why do you want to be in Playboy?

And why lose weight? Do you want to look like 'Playboy women'? if that is the case, you better get fake boobs and false nails too...

I know I am asking more questions than giving advice :p but I really am curious...

...and a fake tan and fake blonde hair as well ...

Okay so not helping much either but Playboy only really has one type of women in it's pages and that's plastic. What about auditioning for Perfect 10 (their models aren't surgically enhanced, etc) or maybe even Suicide Girls, which is owned by Playboy anyway but they don't require everyone to look and act like living Barbie dolls.

Get a good haircut that you like, get a tan, and buy a pretty nightie/biniki/shortie shorts for the shoot. If they like you, then you will have some more questions to answer. But for now, this is just preliminary; they see a million girls every year, if you want to experience this possibility - be sure you have some fun!

I don't have any advice but I am curious about something. You posted before how your parents were not really supportive about you being vegetarian so how are they going to react when you are naked in a public magazine (if there is full nudity involved)? You are old enough to make your own decisions and don't need their approval for anything but I think it'll be interesting to hear their reactions. ;)

Hahaha! Yea, after they refused to support my Veganism, I just kinda blew them out the window.....it was the last straw (there has been sooo much leading up to this though...It's ridiculus!)

I think that in a stupid moment...lets call it passionate....I signed up for this just for the hell of it, but am now wondering what the duece I did.

Trying to lose several pounds in a month to get a particular 'look' is a recipe for disaster; now or months down the line. I'd go with Poppy's suggestions, coupled with less calories and increased activity (especially the latter) to move toward what you think is your optimal weight and get more toned.

Since you're doing it on a lark anyway, who cares what they think really? Do it in a way that will be fun and healthful for you, and to heck with 'em if they don't like it.

It sounds like you're just doing this to be able to say to people "I auditioned for Playboy!" Then why the heck would you hurt your body by trying to force it to lose weight quickly?? You'll probably go there to find you're neither the thinnest nor heaviest person in the audition, you and your friend will get your kicks, and you go home.

Hey, I know what you could do to get attention at the audition. Remember on Laugh-In, they'd paint random words, phrases and designs all over the body of a female character wearing a bikini? Get your funky dance moves and finger paint on!

Confidence is always very important. If you're not already doing so I would suggest practicing the interview and whatever else you'll be doing for the audition. I think the advice poppy and bios gave is good. Take good care of your skin and hair and nails, and maybe work out a couple of times a week. A crash diet and strict exercise regimine(sp?) is a bad idea. But a bit more physical activity can help you be healthier and feel better, even if you don't drop any lbs. Have fun!!

I don't think there is any more need for advice on this topic. But the main point is to set a realistic goal.

Good luck!
