Has anyone ever heard of the burrito chain called

Boloco (http://www.boloco.com)?

You can order a vegan burrito that is out of this world.

They also surprisingly offer organic tofu and organic brown rice as options for their burritos.

I had an organic brown rice, black bean, corn salsa, pico de gallo, guacamole, fajita veggies (peppers and onions) and organic tofu burrito in a whole wheat tortilla tonight that absolutely blew my mind. AND it was only $6.00 Hello.

If you have one near you, give it a try. Just make sure you stress to the person taking your order that you DO NOT WANT ANY CHEESE OR SOUR CREAM, thank you.

Anyone?

Let me know what anyone thinks if you've ever eaten there.

:D

The place sounds interesting. About the closest thing we have here is Santa Fe Peppers. It's run by vegetarians, but they do serve meat. Nonetheless, they know what a vegan is and can make a great vegan burrito.

Yep they have all kinds of varieties, very tasty too.
You must realize Boloco stands for Boston Local Company & they took over the the Wrap.

It looks like there's one here in San Diego in Horton Plaza but that's like 45 minutes from my house so I never really go there.

Yo I think I've been there, is it a chain? I remember driving through New Mexico on the way to Colorado a couple of times and chowing there.

As far as I know, there's only one location. I should ask the couple who owns it. I can't imagine you being there unless you went to the Balloon Fiesta and then drove through the office section of town. :)

Besides... every remotely Mexican-style restaurant in New Mexico is "Santa Fe" this or "Pepper" that. :D

You could have possibly confused it with a million places.

I have eaten Boloco many times before. It has some really good tasting food. But that was when I was vegetarian (now I'm vegan). And I don't live near it anymore. I'm sure many of their things can be made vegan.

My favorite burrito was their Cajun (ditch the sour cream). I don't know if the Cajun spices are vegan or not. They have a green salsa that is to die for! It only comes with one of their burritos (the Classic, I think), but they'll throw in a little side cup of it if you ask them to. I ask for it every time.

Knock me over with a feather, there are two in Ohio. I'll have to check it out the next time I'm in Beechwood or Cincy.
