i want to start a garden though i live in the middle of the desert, it's VERY hot and dry these days w/ temps in the high 90's low 100's,should i wait until fall/winter to plant anything? (what can i plant now? should i build a hoophouse type contraption?) anyone out there gardening in the desert?
I think you should wait until fall, because everything will just dehydrate to death unless you can water it enough.
I think you can grow something but you'll have do do mulching.
(I'll bet soilman has more info on this)
