I didnt really drink it before, but it boosts your metabolism... drink 5 glasses or so and it burns 100 calories. Plus, its supposed to cure disease and weird stuff.
True?

Green tea is suppose to be really good for you. Unfortunetly green tea + my stomach just dont agree with each other. I think its good and I'd love to drink it but it makes me so sick to my stomach. :(

I'm not a fan...but I did buy green tea extract and I put it in my water to drink during the day...I don't know why, but the extract doesn't have the same taste as brewed green tea.
A friend of mine introduced me to it...she lost a few pounds since taking it so I have to say, that's the main reason why I tried it...boosting the metabolism thing...even if it doesn't work, it gets me to drink more water during the day! And it does provide me with all of those good antioxidants and stuff!

I LOVE Triple Leaf Tea brand Jasmine Green Tea. My hubby wrinkles up his nose and says it tastes like floweres. Duh! That's why I like it. :p

I LOVE green tea, but not on an empty stomach, and not without adding a tbsp of soymilk or a tsp of sugar to it. Otherwise I get sick.

I like it plain... no sugar or anything because it loses its essence 2 me...
Yeah, I like the Jasmine Green Tea... my uncle has an organic brand and it cost $50/pound!

yeah i drink it plain too, i like the taste. i've never had an upset stomach from it but i usually don't drink it on an empty stomach (i rarely have an empty stomach lol i snack a lot)
i even found and bought iced green tea and *gasp* my husband actually likes it. it has honey in it which i'm not too happy about but i'm not really that fussy, if hubby likes it and i like it and it doesn't cost a fortune i can overlook the little bit of honey. it's just lipton, i wish there was a healthier version at the grocery store, this stuff is loaded with sugar. still better than drinking pop though

Why does it make so many people ill???? This is news to me, i had never heard of it being disagreeable to people before? What does you guys mean ill? Like gas or nauseus or blah???? I'm drinking some now, i think i used to overbrew it and make it bitter coz it tastes so much better than i remember it!!!!! And thats plain.

It could be the tannins in the tea. My husband gets an upset stomach when drinking black or green tea that has been steeped too long.
