fake meats in asain markets

ohmigod, we have just found a terrific new source of vegan fake meats! there is a giant asain supermarket in our neighborhood and they have a ton of veggie stuff! they have a product line called vegfarm... alot of it is lacto-ovo, but they have a bunch of vegan products... mock duck, chicken, steak even... the products are great because i can use them in recipes to take the place of meat, but they don't taste too much like meat. they are also way less expensive than veggie burgers from the hfs. this market also has super cheap pressed tofu, bean curd sheet, bean curd pouch veggies, spices, snacks etc.
now i just have to look up some new recipes and i'm all set :)

I found some goodies at my local asian market as well! In the frozen food section, I picked up some wheat gluten based sweet and sour "chicken", and in the canned goods there was strip "steak" and "chicken" and vegetables. They have good tofu prices, and vegetable buns that are also vegan.
Good find!
