Hey guys. I've been drinking "Rice Dream" and i really like it... however it seems a bit thin. I was wondering if anyone knows simular rice drinks which taste the same but have a thicker consistancy?
Cheers :D

You can get powdered rice milk in a canister. I've only had the soy variety, and it was less than fabulous, but I'd think it might work well for thickening up "regular", shelf-stable milk.

I tried rice milk - but found it too watery too - so stick to soya. Have only seen the Rice-Dream variety, so not much help from me - sorry!

No worries!! I'm not so keen on the taste of the soya ones i've tried, i really like the taste of Rice Dream, just quite watery lol.

I've thought the same thing. I like the taste of Rice Dream, but find it very watery. I haven't tried any other brands, so I don't know if it's just Rice Dream, or if all rice milks are watery.

I have some Rice Milk in the fridge which isn't Rice Dream but I haven't tried it yet! :o
I'm going to try it tomorrow, no sorry, today when I wake up, (it's 2:30 am) and I'll see what it's like. I've never tired rice milk before so I have no idea what it's like compared to Rice dream but I'm used to drinking skimmed milk which is thin compared to semi-skimmed (which is what the majority of people seam to drink) so it being thin may not matter to me as much! :D

I thought the same thing when I switched from soy to rice, but now I find the soy too thick.
How long have you been drinking the rice milk? If it hasn't been very long, give it a month or two and see if you still feel the same way.
Also, I've tried other brands of rice milk and they don't taste nearly as good as the Rice Dream.

Have you tried almond milk? I don't care for soy either, and like you, find rice milk pretty watery. But Oh my gosh, I LOVE almond milk!
