It's vegan and it's awesome. It comes just as a ball of dough and you roll it out yourself. It makes the best pizza I've ever made at home.

My kids' favorite: BBQ tofu pizza with BBQ sauce, baked tofu, red onions, red bell peppers and vegan gourmet cheddar cheese

Cool! I've had some in the freezer for a few weeks now. I bought the one with the spices in it and made Foccacia :) Not sure if it's vegan though, but I think it is. I bought the wheat dough and then didn't have time to make it, so I stuck it in the freezer. I plan on making a BBQ faux chicken pizza :) Did you have a hard time getting the dough to roll out? Maybe mine was just too cold.

On the faux chicken pizza, I use BBQ sauce, faux chicken (or none at all), mozzarella cheese and chopped cilantro.

I don't even roll it, really. I just let it sit on the counter and get to room temp for 20 minutes or so and then I just kinda stretch it. Someday I'll be talented enough to toss it around like a pro.

I let mine sit on the counter too. I would stretch it and it would stretch right back. Took about 10 minutes to roll it out. *shrugs* The dough had a mind of it's own! :) I will definately use the wheat dough soon... today is my last day of class and I'll be free from school (temporarly of course). More time to cook! My cookbooks have been collecting dust lately.

What I love so much about the dough... the price. 99 cents to about $1.29. Insane!

I would trade Trader Joe's for Whole Foods Market anyday! :)

I make my own pizza dough. I just toss everything into my Kitchenaid mixer and let it go for a few minutes. While it rises, I make the toppings, which takes about an hour at which time the dough is ready to go, too.

I use the recipes from Vegan With a Vengeance, except I don't bother proofing the yeast & I'm too lazy to knead the dough by hand and I use 2/3 whole wheat pastry flour, 1/3 white.
