These are not really what you want exactly, but these are what they are, in that you might find helpful sort of thing, if you have extra/other concerns flying :) Sorry if not. And obviously they are not ticket sites.

SpiritAir....I love it! It's how I get to Myrtle Beach from NY...sometimes they advertise fares for $8, $9 and $24...if you can work out the dates, its awesome!! :)

Check and see if there are any discount airlines in your area and check out their prices. If so, that's the way to go.
There's always priceline.com too. You should google priceline tips if you decide to bid on airline. I check www.biddingfortravel.com each time prior to placing a bid on priceline. You can also check www.hotwire.com for going rates. If hotwire has airfare for $100 then you know you can probably get it through priceline for $80.

I'm shopping for cheap airfare right now too, and it seems impossible. With the gas flux it's been pricey.
The above mentioned sites are great but I've also used (and am frequently checking) orbitz.com, and travelocity.com.
For some odd reason I seem to get the best rates from them late at night and specifically on Wednesday and Sunday.
Check with your local airport because sometimes they can offer excellent rates too. Hope that helps :)

Beachbunny..we've had troubles too, although in-US flights aren't so bad.
Delicious - are you looking for flights to a certain area/region?
