All I have to say is YUM. This stuff is SO expensive ($7.50 per teeny tiny pizza at QFC) - but it definitely satisfies that pizza craving - not to mention those who can't tolerate gluten can eat it! I don't know what they use for the vegan soy cheese on top, but it is far better than any soy cheese I have ever bought in the store!

 I remember when it first came out last summer, and it took me months to find it in a store. That was a very happy day for me. :D

many celiacs react to amy's because they don't have a dedicated plant - beware!

Saw it at Weis today, but it was $7.29! Too expensive...They had other flavors of pizza made by Amy's there too.

i once saw an amys lasagne when i was l/o and its the only product ive ever seen of hers, it was £4 - sod that. thats what youd pay in a resteraunt, not to bung something in a microwave for 2 minutes!

I loved it, but it is really expensive. But the first time I saw them they happened to be on sale 2 for $5 so I bought a few. The crust is good but it crumbles a bit.I wish there one with normal crust instead of the cornmeal, other than that its reallyg good.

delicious

I like Amy's roasted veg pizza, but it's too tiny for me.

Amy's products are expensive, but they are organic and convenient. They're great for nights you don't want to fuss with cooking or don't have time to cook, so IMO they're worth every penny. Their pizzas are fantastic and compared to the price of ordering a pizza out and trying to explain that you don't want cheese on your pizza (there's too many places that have difficulty with that request, I've found), I always find they're worth it.

I agree with you. I couldn't believe I spent $15 on frozen pizzas last week (I bought 2 because they are so tiny) - but they came in very handy one night when I was exhausted and the family was hungry, and I reminded myself that other people will easily spend $15-$25 on ordering take-out pizza, and it's not as healthy! 2 of those tiny pizzas, paired with a green salad and some applesauce, fed my family of 4 just fine.

the cheese on top is vegan gourmet.
i actually wasnt crazy about the pizza though, i found the crust really greasy
i just make a mess of pizzas at a time and freeze them myself
(ive been freezing tons of things since i got a giant roll of food service wrap for christmas)

oh, okay! I just posted another thread about vegan gourmet mozzarella, I hadn't tried it before, and I made a homemade pizza with it and it was great! I'll definitely do that again - I have a bread machine so pizza dough is a cinch, and of course the homemade pizza is 5x bigger than the Amy's! LOL

p.s. I actually liked the greasy crust! :o

I used to eat Amy's quite a bit when I was lacto...faboo stuff.

Our local pizza place didn't know what to think when I ordered one of their minis without cheese the other day...the lady looked at me like I had three heads. It was quite tasty though!

I tried this on two different occasions. I love the roasted veggie pizza and vegan gourmet cheese so I was psyched when I finally found this pizza (very expensive though) . The crust was good, cheese great was (of course) but the spinach tasted very "off" to me. I thought maybe it was just the spices in the sauce making it taste funky ?? but I tried it this time added olives, mushrooms, and soy pepporoni and again the spinach still tasted funny.... maybe the grocery store where I purchased both of them got a bad batch ??

Which stores would carry this product? I've never seen it.

I didn't see it when I lived in Philly or NJ. Out here, my grocery carries them, but I don't like them much. Cheese was good, but the crust was weird. I prefer wheat crust to rice crust. And I prefer a homemade pizza to frozen.

TJ has a vegan roasted veggie pizza with rice crust that is remarkably similar to Amy's. It's "only" $5.99 or so. Even that is too expensive for the tiny little pizza it turns out to be, but it is delicious.
