My skin drives me crazy! Its oily yet it gets flaky and I get break outs! I live in Colorado so its not too surprising. Is there anything I could use to get rid of the shine without making me breakout? :hamster:

Oil blotting paper is great. I am incredibly cheap so i buy white tissue paper (like you use for wrapping gifts) and cut it into squares and when my face is shiny just blot and throw away. A bit wasteful but it pulls all the oil off your face without any chemicals to break you out.

Hello from a fellow Coloradoan!

I like spidergrrl's idea and I've done that myself but never cut them in to squares - how inventive!

Burt's Bees makes blotting papers for oily skin also.

If you have a Sally's Beauty near you, stop and get a box of end wraps for perms. They're already cut to the right size and make GREAT oil blotting papers! Walmart may have some too....:)

I like the Clean & Clear blotting papers. And I've tried them all!

I use Skinvac Deep Daily cleanser, it gets rid of flaky skin. If you use it before putting on make up, it stops oily patches and blotches. This stuff does not cause break outs as its chemical free. Go it at www.skinvac.com

I saw on TV that your diet can cause breakouts too, especially too much caffeine, soft drinks and sugar.
