hi all

if you take superfoods, you should check out these.
compared to others i've tried they are a much finer texture with no additives.
the green barley really hit me at first - upset stomach for a day or two. apparently this was just a detox effect.

Hi there!

I don't take Green Barley but I just recently got myself some spirulina. I am figuring out the best way to take it - since it is an algae it is on the fishy side so putting in my fruit smoothies may not be very tasty. :)

Spirulina is supposed to have more digestable protein than meat and is high in B-12 and iron (all of these things that most veg*ns are deficient in). So, pretty excited to get started on it! :)

I have heard great things about the Green Barley though. I have never had any but my bf likes barley grass shots - he said in some ways it is better than wheatgrass.

I have tried a fruit bar containing spirulina and don’t remember it tasting “fishy”.

Isn’t the B12 in spirulina an inactive analogue? I’d rather not rely on that to meet B12 needs.
