If people were used to make steaks and burgers and junk would you eat it? This has been an ongoing discussion between my friend and I about if I would eat meat again if it was from a human.

There's some sort of brain disease people can get from doing that.

I wouldn't be inherently opposed to killing people for food. I only would have a problem with the way they would be treated on the way to my plate. I wouldn't be one of those people who say that murder is wrong -- nope, not me. I'm opposed to torture but murder is fine in my book.

For the record, I voted for the option "Nicolas Cage was okay in Adaptation. I guess.."

So, are the humans free range or factory farmed?

And where exactly are you supposed to get the human meat from - the morgue? volunteers? a petri dish?

I hate my friends, all they do is make fun of me for being veg*an and tell me I'm gonna turn green.

What a lovely thing to consider... But alas, I say nay. I don't want to eat anything that was breathing or walking around >.< Not cool.

If you "hate" them, why do you hang around with them? I wouldn't want to converse with anyone if they constantly put me down. Again, not cool.

Yeah I had lots of friends in MS but theyre all rednecks and stuff and that kinda upsets me, the friends I have here I went to school with and all I use to do was play videogames so we were videogame nerds, but I don't play anymore videogames so theres nothing really left to talk about and junk, and I don't know any other musicians around here, and even when I do meet musicians their into totally diff. types of music and yeah.....

yeah like I said this has been a conversationg I've had with a buddy, we went to a GNC and I asked about vitamins w/ no gelatin and my buddy said....

"They don't have gelatin in em but they do have the bones and cartalidge of dead babies."

"I don't care I'll eat a dead baby as long as its not an animal."

so yeah.... what?

This question reminded me of one of my geography classes for some strange reason. Someone asked why isn't human excrement used as fertilizer as animal excrement is? There’s a place in Wales that flushes the toilets with rainwater collected from the room (they’ve planted some kind of grass up there) and when the toilets’ are flushed they separate the “solids” from the liquid, send the solid off to the sewage plant and shove the liquid in tanks where it’s turned into fertilizer which they send to a farm somewhere (I think.) So if we can use human urine to make fertilizer then why don’t we use human excrement when we’re perfectly happy to use other animals? Or is it because most humans eat meat and the fertilizer has to come from an animal that is an herbivore? Just one of my musings :D I’ll try to find the website of the place.

Anyhoo, back on topic. How is killing a human any different from killing a cow or a pig? We’re animals as well. It seams to me that, in your head, killing humans is somehow more acceptable than killing other animals. I’m pretty sure that people who’ve turned vegetarian or vegan for the ethnics and morals won’t see killing humans for meat “better” than killing other animals for meat.

No, I wouldn't but I'm curious as to why you would eat a human if you don't eat other animals?

My guess would be that human excrement is more likely than animal excrement to carry dangerous bacteria, since a lot of animal diseases need to mutate before humans can become infected (and urine is mostly sterile, so it isn't likely to pass along disease).

Human farms, I guess. We'd breed humans for meat, making sure that they were well-marbled before slaughter. Problem is, they'd figure it out pretty quickly and devise ways to escape. :(

Also, would this mean women would be "milked" so we don't have cow's milk any more?

I was picking up some tv dinners for my dad one day and read one called Hunan Beef as Human Beef.

This thread just made me think of that.

A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti.
