Recently came upon these at the store, and seeing as how chocolate in all of its glorious forms pretty much constitutes all of my food cravings, I just had to give them a try. And they're great! So I felt the need to pass on the tip. They're basically really good chocolate "licorice" - if you've ever had chocolate Twizzlers they're very similar. But the great thing (which attracted me to them in the first place) is that the only ingredients are:

molasses, wheat flour, cocoa powder, vanilla

Works for me, though I'm not yet well-versed enough in veganism to know if they'd be appropriate or not. Panda is a Finnish licorice company, so I'm not sure how easy these will be to find all over the US, but if you see them and like the types of things I've described then you should definitely pick them up. I'm already planning a trip back to the store to buy out their stock. :)

I loooooove panda licorice products! the herbal flavor is very interesting (comes in a green box).
Riza makes good vegan licorice too.

Oh wow! They sound yummy! I love licorice and chcolate too!! lol I will have to look for them in the UK. I have only seen the normal ones and the mint ones. I have started eating an organic one lately that my local strore "Tesco" has. It's organic called Lazy Licorice or somthing. Taste lovely!:hungry:

Wow, those sound great. I love chocolate licorice. Panda makes a raspberry licorice too, but I can't offer a review because I haven't tried it yet.

Yeah, I have to say I'm not a big fan of the raspberry. Not much raspberry flavor at all. I mean, it's not bad or anything, just not at all what I was expecting. They pretty much just taste like molasses to me.
