Hello, well since I've been having lots of energy lately I've been pretty interested in playing tennis, I have 2 rackets and tennis balls, me and a buddy of mine go to the public corts and play like, alot but, neither of us know the rules of tennis, and when I try to look up online about the rules, well, everything wants you pay to learn tennis. Anyone on here able to just run the basics by me so we at least know how to keep score.

the only tennis i ever play is on super monkey ball deluxe for the playstation, but if it helps, i found these links that appear to be a wealth of information on the subject:
the two below are very descriptive but have lots to take in:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tennis
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tennis_score
this page has links to other pages, including one with photos showing you how to make posh shots, too:
http://tennis.about.com/cs/beginners/a/beginnerscore.htm
links to the right of this page offer more basic info:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/tennis/rules_and_equipment/4222290.stm
and holy mackerel: the internation tennis federation has a 41 page rule book:
http://www.itftennis.com/shared/medialibrary/pdf/original/IO_23858_original.PDF
hope this helps a smidge.... don't know if it will or not.

At home when you are bored you can do tennis work outs with the racket bounce the ball up and down hitting the backhand side of the racket then the forehand and keep switching it up.
Once you get good you can try 2 balls.. This is great for coordination.
