I need to make a commercial for one of my classes and was thinking maybe I could make a PETA commercial. I live in a pretty big farming area...literally live across the street from a dairy farm.

Any ideas? This is very low budget, in fact it would be just me doing it.

no but for real, ill think of a cool idea soon.

do something colorful then show dark stuff, like show kids eating at mcdonalds and then show a picture(not actual footage just a picture) or a slaughter house then keep going w/ various things, then make the latter half show more animal slaughter and yeah. like this shirt.

oohh and for extra hard hitting play something by john lennon, I suggest to try "mother" if you want really depressing or try "stand by me" if you think that people will pay more attention to the lyrics and relate them to the animals. PM if you need any of the songs.

One thing that popped into my head was using the comparison between dogs/cats/etc. and cows/pigs/etc., why we eat some and not others.

I just got a great idea but my project is due before this particular event! One of our local centers has a baby animals day where the kids can come and pet and hold baby rabbits and chickens and so on. I could get footage of these kids loving on these animals and do a voice over of some horrifying facts. I think it works because the two don't add up - loving an animal an then allowing horrible stuff to happen to it. But like I said, my project is due sooner...

Oh wow, how much sooner is your project due then this day? Maybe you can talk to your teacher about a small extention? Could you do a search online for other similar type events in your area?

also show like food and stuff from other countries which involve domestic animals from the u.s., if you really want to hit close to home, show people basic stuff that they don't know about, like wool and silk and other things like that.

It's called baby animal days and its not until sometime in april and my project is due in like a week and a half.
