Honey Cake (simple & scrummy!)

HONEY CAKE

1 cup honey
1/4 cup water
1 and 1/2 cup BOBS RED MILL pastry flour
1/2 cup rye flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp mace
2 tsp baking powder


blend honey and water, then blend in dry ingredients. Bake at 350 deg.
with a pan of boiling water at bottom of oven for about 40 minutes

(makes one 9 in. round pan)

Looks yummy! I have been looking for a recipe that uses up the bottle of Agave Nectar that I got - I wonder if this would work? (I didn't care much at ALL for the Agave Nectar).

Great recipe, I can’t wait to try it myself. I think I may have everything needed to do this recipe.
It sounds pretty healthy for the most part at the same time. Which is always a plus, so It’s something that I’ll have to push in while I’m trying to stop .
