I'm so excited. Yesterday when I looked out the back door at my garden, I saw one of the morning glories was nearly ready to open. This morning it was open *sniff sniff*. I'm SO proud. IT's SOOOO pretty.

Not very long...a day...They're called morning glories because they bloom in the morning and by midday are curled up. However, there are MANNNNYYYYY buds on that thing. So looks like it will be a glorious blooming season. They're so pretty too...deep purple.

I went to pick out a bigger pot for Moe today, (Moe is my plant, I don't even know what he is, I got him as a party favor) and the nursery had so many beautiful flowers and plants. I loved it. It made me want to work there. Spring puts me in such a flower mood. BTW Moe is very happy in his new pot.

That made me laugh :-)

Maybe you could post a digital pic, and we could all try and guess (can you tell I have no life??)

I (gasp) don't own a digital camera and my scanner has been spazy as well. He's green, does that help? :D

ok I'll try and describe Moe. He is kind of small, like maybe 3-4 inches. But he is still a growing. He has small round leaves on the bottom and bigger round leaves on the top. He is growing up much more than he is growing out...but that may change now that he has his new home. He is a yellow-green color and his leaves are a little fuzzy. I have had him for a while now and have yet to see any flowers.

Hmmmmm I don't know - my closest guess might be an African Violet (but I doubt it)

I'll have to track down my friend who gave them out. Maybe she will know what he is. Until then he is Moe the unknown.
