I'm taking all the supplements. B12, B complex, etc. I'm eating pretty healthy ( i think ) but for some reason lately ive been feeling out of it.
I am a lacto ovo and slowly trying to become vegan. it's really hard because i get so dizzy where i find myself needing the protein and calcium from eggs and dairy. i would really like to get off of it but i'm afraid if i dont get better first that i might get really sick..
any advice ? thankkks! :hi:

it could be something not nutrition related. why don't you just go get a panel done? it'll at least take those options out of consideration.

could be iron defficiency. I would definitely get come blood work done to check.

I have been light-headed and dizzy lately as well, so I'll be checking back on this thread to see everyone's suggestions!
I take a daily multivitamin (well...when I remember to!) and it has 100% iron, so I don't think it's iron-related. At least in my case :)

your dizziness goes away when you eat protein or calcium? thats weird... and vegan sources of these things don't have the same effect? i'm somewhat intrigued if a bit of cheese or a boiled egg does fix the dizziness and tofu or hummus doesn't, though- sounds very interesting!
i'd go see your doctor, because dizziness can be caused by loads of stuff, you don't really want to guess or assume anything when it comes to your health... it might just be that it goes away when you eat something with dairy or eggs in it, because you sit down to eat, and your blood pressure drops, or because your body gets a bit of a rest, or because you relax mentally following a placebo effect, or something else weird like that.
while you were there, maybe you could make an appointment to see a dietition, to check out ways of meeting your calcium and protein needs on a vegan diet, just so you know you're meeting all your targets?
hope it gets better soon, anyway! :)

thank you very much everyone for your support. I guess im going to have to go to the doctor even though i absolutley hate going there. Im always afraid of the worst and sometimes would rather not know at all if something is wrong. But i guess i should do that sometime this week. thanks again
