Help with learning about animal cruelty

Every time I try to research the subject of animal cruelty, it becomes too distressing. It seems that before I've finished reading/watching anything with the information I need to fight it, I get too upset to continue, which makes me a horrible source to spread awareness... :-/

Visit www.humaneteen.org . At the top of the page you'll see they have links to learn about various animal issues. Because it's directed at animal-loving teens, this website does not feature all of the graphic photos that many other sites have. Also, they have thoughtful well-written introductions to the issues.
