Guess what? My friend is like really against animal abuse. (She's not a vegetarian though.) I said, if you are against animal abuse, you should watch this video. (The "Meet Your Meat" one)
So now she's watching it...I hope she'll be a veg*n now! She says it's too hard and it is hard but...wow I just really hope she can do it.
I'm talking to her on MSN right now. Wish me (and her and all the animals) good luck!

Yay! She says she's never eating meat again. I don't know how long that will last for...hopefully for a really long time!

I'm glad you showed your friend that video. I couldn't watch it past 30 seconds. It was entirely way too distubing.
Just remember not to pressure anyone into becoming vegetarian/vegan.

Congrats!! She has more balls than most people I know. They are wimps and will not watch the video. Maybe it is time to try it again on everyone, it was a year ago I tried.

No, I didn't pressure her. I've asked a lot of people if they wanted to watch it, but they all declined.
I just told her that she should watch it, and she agreed.

I watched it all. Except for a small part...my friend was distracting me. And I had to turn it down..all the pigs squealing and stuff.
I'm like 2% balls. Haha.

Ericka,
Congrats. I saw this video about two years ago at 1:00 in the morning (while eating a ham sandwich), I quickly put the sandwich down and from that moment went vegetarian. I do agree that no one should be pressured into being a vegetarian, but this video is a strong tool to make people reconsider eating meat.

That video was how my husband and I went veg*n... and it was difficult to watch... *sigh*
Nice work. Wish I could get my family to watch it...

It's why I'm vegan now. Hard to watch, definitely, but I'm glad I know the truth.

Watching the video is like taking the "Red Pill"
In other words, Meat your Meat = Red Pill :)
I think everyone who has eaten a slaughtered animal owes it to the animals to at least see how it was killed. It is not like we have to suffer like they did we just have to watch how they suffered. We owe it to the animals, how do you think they feel? They were the actors.

This is one of the videos that finally pushed me to make the change. It hurts to watch it, but I think it is necessary.
