Mirena IUS

Hi girls, was wondering if anyone has had the Mirena IUS, not the coil. Read the link below for info about it. My doctor recommended it today and I'm scheduled to have it put in December 15.

Any thoughts?? :)

i have had a mirena ius for 8 months now and love it!
my periods have pretty much turned into light spotting...and i have skipped a couple...but i like it b/c i don't have to worry about taking a pill every day...

insertion can be painful for some people...expect cramping and fairly heavy bleeding, which should subside in a matter of days...

be sure to have your doc explain how to check it, if you're not sure about that...if you have any specific questions before you get it or after you have it inserted, feel free to send me a pm!
