Morningstar Farms veg hot dogs

I bought some of these yesterday.....they are in the frozen section........we had them today and they are pretty good......everyone ( hubby and kids ) liked them.......omni hubby was actually very enthused about them! He actually said " there's no meat in these?" as if he was surprised

yep smart dogs are my kids fav.........the store was out of them :( and everyone had a hot dog craving going on........LOL.....so the purchase of the MF brand!

Wow, this is the first time I've heard anyone say they liked these. I wondered who bought 'em. ;)

I'll stick with Yves Best Dogs. Despite the price difference.

They would do in a pinch, but I prefer SmartDogs & Tofu Pups. Although I put ketchup, mustard, relish, and tons of onions on mine...so I could probably put dirt on a bun and with all those condiments not really mind it.

I don't buy them very often, probably haven't in years, but I like them. I buy the corn dogs and mini corn dogs more often. :lick:

yeah, really the only time I buy the MF ones is if they're on sale (which is almost never). Fake meats is one of those things where, if it's on sale, I'll buy a lot of it. If not, I clearly don't need it.

(the locally owned supermarket has all the MF burgers on sale right now - 2 for $6!! regularly priced at $5+)

my kids are big fans of the MF corn dogs... i think they like eating off of a stick more than anything
