Hey anyone who boxes, are Everlast's durahide boxing gloves vegan?

Durahide is synthetic, made to look and feel like leather.

ETA: I'll look for a source to check, I'm not 100% sure of this.

The concept of vegan boxing gloves is quite funny to me. 'cause of the whole punching thing (then again this is the girl who was in hysterics at a site selling vegan s&m gear - irony!), i cant see any mention of anything on teh site - checking somewhere like ebay might be more descriptive? or go pester someone in a sports shop
