I just had my very first experience with an all vegetarian restaurant tonight. It was Sipz (http://www.sipz.com) in San Diego. The food was delicious! On the whole menu, only 3 items weren't vegan (and these things were labeled on the menu in big bold letters.) I was just giddy having so much to choose from. The food was delicious! I went with my daughter and we started out with the potstickers, which were amazing. The dipping sauce was so good, I was tempted to drink it straight. Then my daughter had the Tom Kah soup (lime & coconut soup with mushrooms and big hunks of fake chicken) and I had the orange "chicken". I haven't tasted anything that tasted so much like chicken since the last time I had actual chicken. It was kind of eerie but delicious. For desert, we shared the vegan carrot cake. It was probably the best carrot cake I've ever had in my life.
I think I have a new favorite restaurant :smitten:
