anyone know of a good site to order dried elderberries? i want to make an elderberry syrup to use thru out the winter, i usually buy the sambucol elderberry syrup and i swear by it for heading off colds thru out the winter, but it gets rather pricey, so i have a recipe for making my own but not sure where to buy some good dried elderberries?

Thanks for the link, I don't have a clue what a good price is either, the recipe i have calls for 1/2 C dried elderberries, 3 C water and 1 C honey ............not even sure how much syrup comes out of this recipe,
i will have to figure it all out and compare if im even coming out cheaper,
the sambucol is about $10 for a 4 oz bottle and between 4 people here we go thru it quick!

Mountain Rose Herbs has some organic elderberries too and they're a great company:

ETA: I take a capsule version of the dried herb and berry from Vitamin Shoppe when I begin to feel ill. It was about $5 for 100 "VegiCaps":)
