Referrals?

I haven't seen anything about this in the FAQ so..

What is a referral? I looked at my profile (because I'm self-centered, LOL) and noticed I have one referral.

Is that a good or a bad thing?

I believe it means that someone else signed up because you referred them to this site. :) Am I right?

Yep, TF is right. They can either type in your name when they sign up or there is a unique url you can use in e-mail or on a website that will automatically credit you.

Just make sure it doesn't say referrerid=1, that one is mine. It should plug in your member #.
