Hey you guys! Because of a recent running injury, I found myself with alot of free time on my hands & decided to check out all those sites where you take surveys and they supposedly pay you for it lol.

After weeding through a ton of scams, I found two that actually DO pay you. They're really good for making a few extra bucks, so I thought I'd share my findings with all of you.

The first one is Treasure Trooper (http://www.treasuretrooper.com/175242). It has:
- one daily survey that is worth 75 cents, and takes less than 5 minutes.
- a "cash offers" section where you complete surveys, sign up for newsletters, etc. and make 50 cents to $35 for each task. For a lot of the offers, all you have to do is type your e-mail address or zip code in a box, and you get 50 cents to $1 for it!
- a shopping section that lists a ton of popular websites. When you buy anything from those sites (like Bestbuy.com), you get a percentage of your money refunded through treasure trooper, and these little virtual coins that you can "cash in" for Amazon.com gift cards & Visa gift cards.

(My one recommendation is that you set up a new e-mail account & use that address for the surveys. These survey sites spam you like crazy, so it's good to have a "junk e-mail" account.)

In the first 45 minutes of having a Treasure Troopers account, I made $37. They pay you around the 15th of every month, & my last check was for $198.
Being a student that only has a part-time job & could really use the extra cash, I love love LOVE that site. :smitten:

The second one is Pinecone Research (https://www2.pineconeresearch.com/Signup/Signup_Form.asp). Usually to join this site, you have to find a working banner somewhere, which is really quite difficult, but I did the legwork for you guys - that link works =]

That site only sends you 3-4 surveys a month, however, they only take about 5 minutes, and for every one you take you get a $5 check in the mail within a week (but usually within a couple days). They'll also send you full-size products to try out sometimes. AND they don't send you ANY spam. So you can use your regular e-mail address for this one.

After signing up for over a dozen sites, these are the only 2 that have actually paid. If I find any more, I'll let you guys know!

There have been times where I made enough money from the two of these sites to cover my groceries for the entire month, so it's like getting all my food for free! haha

The Pinecone link doesn't work...you have to find a banner. I was with them for a looong time (maybe 6 or 7 years) and found them to be a cool company. They occasionally sent me free stuff to try too, and then you'd have to fill out an evaluation, and would earn an extra $5. Fun. :)

Yep, I also do the Pinecone Research one as well. I've been doing it for about 6 mo. now & I've never had any junk mail come my way.

Thanks Aubrey for letting us know about the Treasure Trooper one, and the tip about another e-mail account!! I haven't heard of them? Interesting idea!

I wish I could find the pinecone research banner. I spent hours looking for it yesterday with no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to find it?
