pubic rash

I am concerned because I have a red rash underneath my pubic hard and I don't know where it came from! I don't think it could be lice because I have never had sexual contact, nor have i been on anyone else's bed or used others towels. I did notice white specs (which are not as frequent) but I thought it might be tissue paper fibers. It is not always itchy but has not gotten any better. I have read that lice doesn't acutally cause a rash and if it does its is more of grayish color. Just wondering if anyone could enlightment me.

Definitly talk to you doctor. Could it be razor burn? Do the white specks wipe off? In the meantime I'd maybe try some aloe.

I was thinking razor burn at first. Or maybe an allergic reaction to dye or chemicals in your underwear (contact dermatitis).
But from the white specks you mention, it's probably pubic lice (it's not neccessarily sexually transmitted).

You should go to a doctor to see what it really is.

could be your underwear or clothing garment.. do you exercise?
