Raspberry Tofu cheesecake

Iv had something similiar to this, but im sure its good, I cant wait to try it! and its so simple

Ingriedients

1 container silk tofu

1 8oz pack cream cheese

1 cup powedered sugar

2 tablespoonns Raspberry preserves


Directions

Sofen cream cheese in microwave. Blend togather tofu and cream cheese, and slowly add sugar, Beat until its creamy and has all lumps out. Add Preserves. Pour into homeade or already prepared crust. Let chill for 2 hours. After that, before serving swirl raspberry glass in a circle in the middle, and add 2 chocolate covered strawberrys in the center of the raspbeerry ring.

I'm confused. I thought the point of putting tofu in cheesecakes was to replace the cheese. I've never heard of a cheesecake that had both tofu and cheese in it before.

I've actually come across several recipes for tofu and cheese cheesecakes... I know, it doesn't make much sense...

I have used the tofutti better than cream cheese with the tofu...tastes more like real cheesecake than just using tofu....IMHO.

Oh, yeah, OK, I guess that makes sense from a health perspective. It would be a cheesecake with less cholesterol and saturated fat.

lol sorry, Guess I should have clarified. Its a non vegan recipe. Still, even with cream cheese its still healthy b3ucase tofu is good for ya.

You could replace the cream cheese with tofutti and make it vegan though. :D

Is there anything else I can add instead of tofu?
