Usually walking through the kitchen and seeing the cupboards just sitting there, crying out to be opened, breaks my willpower.
The only solution is to keep the cupboards empty!

Going out to a restaurant with many vegan options!
There's so few around here, and I'm ususlly so low on cash that on the REEEALLY rare occassion that I do go out, I want a taste of everything!
(Usually I order plenty extra so I can have it the next day - I LOVE LOVE restaurant leftovers!)

Not being busy breaks my will power.
Or just having gone grocery shopping.

Usually a trip to veggieboards will break my will power and send me into a feeding frenzy. Man do y'all talk about delicious sounding food a lot. :)
I guess I'm lucky. I don't have a sweet tooth to speak of.
And what passes for a "guilty pleasure" for me are things like hummus and guacamole.
Maybe even Tofutti Better Than Cream Cheese on a toasted pita with nice, ripe sliced garden tomatoes.
Beer just makes me crave more beer.
So, yeah. It's easy for me to have will power because the foods I do crave are somewhat healthy.
Cheers!
TJ
PS. I hear that T-n-S. I always stuff myself silly when I hit a veg restaurant.

candy does it to me :p My favourite non-veg candies from canada all seem to be vegetarian here in the UK. Starburst, skittles, gah! I was just as well not having those things around to wreck my being good.
Also my boyfriend. He's the skinny type and could eat ten chocolate cakes without putting on an ounce. So he's always like "lets go out to eat!" and "lets go out with the guys for some drinks!" Bah, he's a bad influence.

My own stupid food addiction breaks my willpower more often than I'd like. Grrr. Seeing the fridge and cupboards immediately makes me plan in my mind what I could sneak into my room the fastest, and how many different food items I can whip up without anyone knowing. But then again, that's a little different than what you're talking about I'm sure. ;)

Cookies!
But I've eaten a lot less of them since I started tracking things on fitday.com. I think I feel guilty about them and don't want to face knowing about those calories, so I don't eat them!

Chinese food-I just learned how to cook the veggies properly. Boy, is it good. I usually don't eat it, because I'm too cheap to go out to a restaurant. Now I've learned how to cook it at home.....Better hang on to my fat clothes.

peanut butter and for some odd reason beans. Once i open a can its gone in like 20 minutes. Starting on 9-11 i cut out those foods and so far so good.

"Garlic bread" (fried toast with fresh garlic slices and salt) or pretty much anything containing chocolate will do it. I just made a new friend at school and she's, like, 1/2 my size, and I used to be 1/2 my size when I was her age, so I'm a bit stressed about my weight which means--more eating.
Then my guilt starts in, darnit: :whack: Bad random! Chocolate cookies from the vending machine are NOT a substitute for supper!
And I was doing so good until my fiance left for MN! :(

shopping while hungry - I tend to buy fattier stuff that we then have to eat.
