Hey, I am new to these boards, so bear with me if I am posting wrong etc. :D

I am vegan, have been for about 6 months, veggie for almost 4 years, but that is besides the point really I guess. ..Point being, I am finding really really hard to find vegan shoes, that arent leather. I know that sounds stupid, I mean, I know there are other shoes out there, but I can't seem to find them. I am okay getting trainers, they are easy, but for tidy *going out* shoes, all I have is a pair of epspadrilles, and its coming up to winter, and they so totally are not suitable, especially when it rains. Does anyone know of anywhere that I can get non-leather shoes, be it on the net or in a chain of stores, cause my mum is going crazy with me as I have nothing to wear o my feet :S Help much apprieciated:D

Where do you live, roughly? That will be a huge factor in any advice people have.

I live in Ontario, but on a recent trip to new york state I discovered loads of really nice, vegan leather-look shoes. One of my favorite brands is MUDD. Do a google search. They have many leather-look shoes, and are available in American department stores.

I am wearing the Crocs clogs (without the holes) successfully with socks and my feet were warm--Crocs are great! The ones without holes are much warmer than the hole-y ones.

Zappos has the biggest selection.

I also use Pangea (veganstore.com) for many vegan needs, and that includes shoes.

Congrats for being veggie for so long! I have also been vegan for 6 months. :)

I had the same problem with finding vegan shoes.. I recently bought a pair of sneakers from Payless. They great thing is they have stores, and you can buy online, too. And you can't beat the prices!

Try a Payless ShoeSource if it's near you.

I really like the incline insole. I have minorly bad posture and it helps a little.
Plus the shoes are just sexy.
Listed at $119 at earthvegan.us - payed $110 at wholefoods.
But like I said - worth every penny

$100 for a pair of shoes...whoa. My Payless kicks cost $20, and they're awesome!

Another cool place to check out for non-leather shoes is AlternativeOutfitters.com. They have a pretty nice selection of moderately-priced shoes.

ive worn $20 payless shoes since high school.

Believe me, you can tell the difference lol.
Worth every penny. The posture correcting 3.5% incline ergonomic form fitting insoles alone are worth it.

I just buy cheap synthetic shoes - not only are they non leather, but they save money lol. Actually this is basically my downfall as a vegetarian. I have so much trouble passing up shoes that i have fallen in love with when i realise they are leather. I do, but i bought leather shoes for my semi formal without even realising, I felt bad but i kept them...
