Have any of you tried this Italian vegan cat food? It seems like a pretty good product, from what I've seen in reviews both on the AMI website and on other veg*n MBs. Do any of you cat parents have any experience with it?
From the AMI Website (http://ami.aminews.net/?lang=en):
Cats, unlike dogs, have metabolic limitations and particular nutritive needs. Taurine, for example. This secondary amino-acid is fundamental for their health: deficiencies in taurine cause blindness and serious heart diseases in felines. Dogs obtain it from two essential amino-acids: methionine and cystine. Cats cannot. Moreover, cats are unable to obtain vitamin A from beta-carotene (unlike human beings). AMÍ DOG and AMÍ CAT are complete products that solve these problems by providing dogs and cats with all the necessary nutritive elements.
