I've known this since like a couple of yrs before but I'm still not sure.. "Eat Right 4 Your Type" - I personally don't think the claims are valid that O types have to eat animals, but I just wanted to know what you guys think? Are there any O types here that actually followed that diet and got sick/felt bad instead of their normal/veg diet?

Eat right for your type (along with an increasing amount of nutritional advice) is psuedo science. There is no reason to believe the claims are valid and without evidence to support those claims there is no reason to take them seriously. Go with the ADA for nutritional advice and they see no problem with veg*n diets and believe they can be healthy.

I did the blood type eating and I'm O and didn't eat any beef. I did launch myself into a mountain of walnuts, and every vegetable protien I could find on the list. It worked out fine. I felt a lot better, had more energy, and lost weight. It will work without meat. Do it.

I was wondering if you could do it minus the meat, or it that was a "necessary" part of the combination for it to work...

I'm an O, and I've never had any negative results whatsoever from not eating meat. Don't sweat it! :)

Blood type and diet is quack science.
How about developping a diet for eye colour and colour of your hair.
There's a good article by Dr Klaper:

Please have a look. :)

Don't follow that diet. Stick with what's tried and true: exercising and eating right!

I'm not an O I don't think, but my mom is and I know a lot of others who are and who eat vegan or vegetarian diets and thrive on them.

I ate right for my type for a really short amount of time, but i'm A- and we're supposed to thrive on veg diets. YAY!

I've never heard of "blood type dieting" before. I think it's silly from the sounds of it. I have O blood type, and eat healthy without following anything and I'm just fine.

I'm O- and I feel better without meat. Over a decade of debilitating migraines vanished in a few weeks when I stopped eating meat and most dairy/eggs. That blood type stuff is sheer nonsense.
