Okay, so about a month ago or so, I saw these plastic eggs that have some sort of magic inside that keep vegetables from rotting in a magazine. As a swingin' singleton, I often find my vegetables rot away before I can munch them up. I lost the magazine, but I would really like to purchase them. Google searches have been amusing but fruitless. Anyone know of them? What they're called?

what, these things?

this guy is a manufacturer, but am looking for a retailer.

ETA: i guess its different to the baking soda, charcoal, and steel ones that are about all over the place then? anyway, i should get back to work... but this is a start, right? i tried amazon and ebay, no luck- you could try a shopping channel website (they sell that kind of novelty- actually mine in canada has these magic green natural veggie bags right now that absorb the chemical that fruits and veggies emit and stops them going off- that might be worth a try too?), or even contact this manufacturer and ask him who he supplies to. good luck!

Oh my god. I think that might be it. The ones in the magazine didn't look like that, but magazines probably even airbrush their plastic things nowadays. After all, a lot of the people in them are plastic, too.

Well, if I ever put beanstalks in my crisper with these things, they hopefully won't rot as fast. :)
