View Full Version : What do the display name colors mean?

Ok, I couldnt find anything on this in the FAQ:

What do the different colors mean for users display names?

I think the ORANGE users are Mods? Is that right?
What about the users names that are in GREEN?

Then I am guessing the rest of us who are in BLUE are the 'regular' users.

I am guessing I can't change my name color to something more snazzy like RED. :D

blue: regular members
orange: Mods
green: Contributing Members. If you want to become one, it's $15.00 a year through paypal. The contribution helps keep VB running, and you get more storage space in your PM inbox and photo album, plus you get be invisible! Click on your User CP for the Paid Subscription information.

i only do the invisible mode when i wear the cape and tights. it makes me feel superhero-y.

Yep. There's more to it than that though. I can't discuss the mystical rites and hazing rituals that are associated here, or I'd lose my mod-ship. :sealed:

I'm just glad that contributing member mods don't have the orange and green mixed. It would wind up as some kinda pukey brown color. :lol:
