I have not been exercising in quite some time. My current job is very demanding and on top of the 40 + hours I spend on the job, I have to spend another 15 + hours on the commute. (per week)

Anyway, I will be starting a new job at the end of the month and want to get back into a fitness routine. I want to go running at night. Where I live there are no sidewalks and the streets have twists, turns and hills to them. I will need good reflective clothing / gear.

I don't want the stiff (highly uncomfortable) crossing guard type vest or sash. Does anyone know of a store that makes cotton t-shirts / sweatshirts, shorts and sweatpants with the reflective panels sewn in?

Are there any Comfortable, but highly visible at night work out clothes?

Almost all major athletic clothing manufacturers sell some items with "reflective" things, like piping or logos. Like these: http://tworoadsfitness.com/nighttee.html

I recommend getting a few wrist or ankle straps. You can wear them with anything. Like these: http://www.roadrunnersports.com/cgi-bin/rrs/rrs/ProductPg.jsp?baseProdKey=BRBKW284&catOID=-9875&BV_SessionID=@@@@1989661969.1150395625@@@@&BV_EngineID=jaddgllgkfijbekgcgecfeedg.0

Cotton isn't great for working out... consider moisture-wicking fabrics like Coolmax.

Or you can buy reflective trim and sew it onto your jackets and shorts yourself. Like this: http://www.siegelsuniforms.com/pages/details.php?subcatid=504&catid=104&prevcat=

Thanks Toadstool. When I did my search the only company I came up with that wasn't pushing the ridiculous looking vest was night gear (http://www.night-gear.com). Although their stuff looks "stylish" and comfy, it is for fall and winter. It would drive me crazy to have long sleeves when I'm trying to run in the summer heat.

I've had a Coolmax bra before. They are pretty cool. I love the feel of cotton and just didn't want my work out clothes to be stiff and itchy. The t-shirt you found looks good though. I appreciate it.
