where presentable clothing, think about what you want to say before you get there, and speak up so the interviewer can hear you. those are most important.

I agree to wear something nice. My mom works at a temp agnecy (her job is to find people jobs) so she has to interview people alot.. so here are some tips from her
*no jeans or flipflops
*make and keep eye contact
*don't seem nervous
*dont move around alot (like when people are nervous they move around or play with something in their pocket)
*speak loud and clear (but dont yell)
Good Luck.

Becouse from what I saw in Israel (maybe it's part of Israeli close-mindness), the McDonald's boses don't really like veggies....

yeah i wouldn't say your a vegan because they probably wouldn't hire you and they would think you might to something bad to the place, or make the place look bad by saying mcdonalds sucks...do you live in a small town? are you sure there is no where else you can work like a book store, music store, even a grocery store or something....

I said I was vegan in a recent job interview (for a job in a cafe that serves burgers, hot dogs...you name it) and I got the job. But I can't see how it'd come up, it only did in that one because the woman said something about her son wanting more veggie options in there and it just ended up coming up. But if it does, just say it won't affect how you work.
I'd say the most important things are dress smartly, make eye contact and smile! They don't want to hire a grumpy person  Sound as confident as possible, even if you aren't (I got asked if I was able to cook several portions of chips, keep the customers going and tidy up at the same time...the answer - "I'm certain I could, I'm very good at organisation!" *toothy grin*).

well to all the people wondering why i applied for a job there, i couldnt get job anywhere else, and my dads exact words were "if you dont get a job this summer i will literally make your life a living hell". so i was desperate.
oh and, i went, and they hired me! im kind of happy kind of not, but at least now my dad cant keep bugging me, plus now i'll have money! i'll just make sure not to eat their food on my breaks lol...(like i would want to anyway)

congradulations!
maybe you could still look into some other places? pressure-free? you have a job to keep your dad happy but getting a job thats not fastfood might make you happier!

Congrats! But I agree with animallover, you should find a job you'll enjoy, not just to make your dad happy if you are miserable there. If you don't like it there, don't feel pressured to stay.
I'm probably going to be getting a job at an animal hospital soon, I'm so excited!

Hey, Chocolate!
I work at McDonalds at the moment also... I work at a newspaper and a magazine but they don't pay enough for me to be able to pay my bills, and McDonalds is the only place that'll work around my busy schedule, so McDonads it is...
Let me just say, you'll either get some very tough skin, or you'll want to look for another job. I want to throw up every time I hand someone 7 double cheeseburgers, but I know I won't change them, so I have to just try not to focus on it too much.
As far as lunch breaks go, my advice is to either pack a lunch (it's much cheaper anyway!) or eat one of their salads. When I do eat there I get a salad, and since I work there I can make it myself, so I put extra veggies on it and keep the cheese and meat out. You can also get a bun and put veggies on it (although if you're vegan, the buns may have dairy in them? I don't know) Also, stay very far away from the sauses if you put them on fries!! I loved the hot mustard until I looked at the labels.. a lot of them contain egg yolks... I think the only sauces you can use are barbecue, mustard and sweet and sour.
Good luck :) I hope it goes alright!
