Canadian or not, please take a few minutes today to click on this link and send 2-3 emails off to the Canadian government officials and senators listed to let them know that exempting perpetrators affiliated with the animal-using industry means leaving millions of animals at risk for cruelty in the future.

The Senate Committee is set to revise the bill to exempt all abuses of animals perpetrated by anyone who is affiliated with an animal-using industry. If this happens, animals in Canada will be even worse off than they are now––when they’re supposedly being protected by a law that is 113 years old!

I went to the site and read.

That's a lot of potential criminal activity that would end up being protected.

May 14 was the hearing date - does anyone know what happened with this?
