unless all you're eating is doritos and diet pepsi, I'd find it hard to imagine that your diet is what has caused your recent illnesses. Have you changed anything else in your life? New job? New school? New apartment? All of those things expose you to new germs... when i first started my job after college, I caught a TON of colds, for about a year! And I wasn't vegetarian yet.
Another possibility - you've developed allergies... this is allergy season. Another possibility - If you are eating a lot more dairy, this can cause sinus problems for many people.

Could be coincidence. There's some nasty bugs going around. Up until this last year I've gotten mildly ill maybe once a year, I've come down with 3 colds since November. I've been vegetarian for almost 2 years and vegan for about 3 months so really diet has nothing to do with it. If the bugs are strong enough, you'll catch them.
Also you get sick more as you get older. And allergy medication can start to lose it's effectiveness after a while. You might want to reconsult your doctor, you may even have developed new allergies, it happens. I was allergy free until I was about 21 and then I developed a sudden allergy to cats (which I've owned my whole life). Now I can't even have them on my lap. At 29, now, I've also developed seasonal ones too. Going vegan actually helped a little with the symptoms.
If you're truly worried about your diet, ask your doctor to check your blood levels. Honestly,I don't see anything in meat that is going to prevent you from being ill.

Your body might just be going through a detox or something, getting rid of all crap you took in from meat.
Agreed..that crap stays in your colon for like YEARS!

Let's not proprogate myths, guys. (*sigh*)
Could be a detox session. Drastic diet changes can cause some weird effects. Are you getting ample supplies of veggies/fruits/complex carbs ?
What did your diet look like before and after the change? Has dairy comsumption increased / lessened/ remained the same?
What kind of "sick" are you referring to?
Yeah what do you mean by "sick:" goiters? Kidney failure? a cold? Do you work somewhere new? Do you take a diffrent route to school/work? Are you around different people? Using a phone someone might have sneezed on? Going to a public toilet? Desks have more germs on them than toilets by the way. Many people when going veg go to new restauraunts and make new friends and stuff-- you could be picking up a whole new set of germs just by reaching into a different frozen case. All I can say if it is simple "bugs" is wash your hands often, dont touch your mouth. Maybe for a while use some of those handy towlettes with hand cleaner on them. (P.S. I do believe in Detox).
