where be by the sea? in a few years global warming might push you back to the midlands. (:p)
Welcome to Nice Dream, I mean to VB.

Yeah well i can always move back in with me mum she lives near Dudley.

In the meantime ill enjoy living by the sea, taking strolls along the coastline, walking along the cliff tops, bodyboarding and listening to the waves break on the rocks.

I live near Swansea. Thanks for the welcome.:guitar:

What about forest, any of that which you like? I'm in the woods a lot/ cycling or working out through activity whatever thing on my mind to do to keep fit, or be it whatever to forget about urban life, as often as I can. I'm not far from Dudley.

Hi Starlass! I heard you lived in Newcastle...I was in Heaton recently, I like Chillingham Road for charity shops and stuff, and the park's nice. I haven't been to the Sky Apple for ages though, me and Isowish were gonna go there but it seemed there wasn't much vegan choice so we went to Almonds n Raisins instead.

well last week I was disabled, or not me as such, but my account was. I got put on temporary ban for some odds and sods reasoning. I've not sent you a pm in a while but no worries yo, I sent you one today and it was just to ask is your internet any better it said. I've been back off of ban since Sunday.
Just London is it, you and FirstBus? why you say "again!!" ? were you in London in times not long ago?
btw: Whenever this year I come to Paris, I will route to Paris probably not thru London btw. And anyway best sort out your internet before we chat more. *What is happening* Good question!!

Whatever the choas of meeting etc, my other french friend is helping make sure I arrive somehow or other, travelling is not my speciality :p but I'm sure plans may be made somehow!!

Sound yummy, but the link doesn't seem to work. I'm jealous though!

Oh and as I realised Kate has never been to our local huge free outdoor 2-day environmental festival (with all veg*n food) before, the Newcastle Green Festival, I thought I'd better advertise it in case anyone else is in the area at the time (the 9th and 10th of June - same weekend as the Brstol Vegan Fayre though!). It's pretty amazing...and FREE!

Argh. Well, at least once we're all moved, we'll be somewhere with a nice big garden, and we can have y'all over for dinner. :D

What sun creams do people use? We have several more 'natural' makes where I work but they don't all say they're vegan. I just bought a JASON organic one because it says it's BUAV approved which I thought meant no animal ingredients as well as no testing, but I'm not sure as it had things like 'dia-something urea' in it and I thought urea was always from animals.

Is Jason stuff always veg*n? They don't specifically say on their website, just 'pure natural and organic' and 'all comes from the earth' which I would presume means just plants and minerals but y'never know.

I have some Alba Botanicals that works well if I remember to actually put it on! Urea can be plant-based btw, though...from soybeans, I think.

I use Lavera mineral based sunscreen spray---it says vegan on the label and uses no parabens. I don't like how it feels on my face---but I've never liked suncreen on my face. But it works well and the spray is easy to apply. I got it at my local HFS.

Have we set a date for a summer meet?

so ... suncream talk. I was going to start that actually. Are any of you nearly-ginger (or just plain ginger), freckled, pallid, burn-when-in-shade people like me? If so, what do you recommend? (vegan)
