Gah... Thanks. If I ever go to the pictures whilst down-under I shall avoid the poppy-corn then. :-/

that AMAZING vegan burger place is just before the lock..
just after the last entrance to the random hall that contains the proper jewellery bit at the bottom(theres a load of crinkled tshirt thingies), if youre coming from the station- theres a sign saying burger somehign and its right near the whole food bit.
if that makes sense hahaha im so bad with directions
Im back in Bristol so camden is afar =( i love camden
whenever i go there i get this feeling of home, like i get nowhere else
bristol/hampton i feel out of place... soon as i get to camden it just feels right.

i was talking about my friend who lived near me last year for college, now she goes to edinburgh uni.... i miss her so much =(

Thanks Pirate.
And, judging from your directions - all I know for certain is that there`s a vegan burger place SOMEWHERE in Camden
But thank you still !!! *woooooooooah!!!, I`ve been distracted from typing by something I can see in my peripheral vision-- SPIDER!! It just webbed down from the ceiling right next to me! :P T`was quite a big dude too!*

But yes, Ms Ferret, when I can persuade members of my clique to get off their buttocks and venture North to Camden I shall no doubt seek the veggie burger place! Ya! ......that might take a while though...

Aww, cheer up!! You`ll be back there soon enough - and FEEL great so you shall!!

Blockbusters sweet popcorn is vegan. I tend to buy a packet of that when I go to the flicks.

I've never been to Camden but I'd like to, I've only been to London once (apart from changing trains when I came back from Southampton last month, I went on the tube by myself, whee! and was pleased to find a vegan sandwich in Boots!) Looking on vegan London, I can't see a vegan burger place in Camden but they don't have everything on there. This place called Green Note is vegetarian though, seems to have a good vegan range and their website looks really nice and cosy, it's a live music venue too, so could be another place to check out if we have a meet-up. http://www.greennote.co.uk Anyone?

That sounds good and then we could shop in Camden! So food and entertainment all in one place. Their salads sound good--the way you can choose 5 things to go together. Any thoughts on a meet up?

PS Llamapower I dig your avatar. I just rewatched B-fast Club for the hundredth or so time last week. If he gets up...we'll all get up...it'll be anarchy! woohoo!

Thanks, it took me ages to find this pic and it's stretched to fit but never mind! I only just watched it when it was on TV last week (I'm 18 so wasn't born when it was made although that's no excuse...) but I recorded most of it and I've been rewatching it quite a bit when I'm bored...Bender definitely has a certain charm...:o

It feels kinda weirdly put together but it works, although I don't like the makeover bit at the end.

So you're definitely planning to come to London if others are? Yayness...I can't wait, I hope it'll come off. I can't go to Boston so it's the next best thing!

Yes defintely planning to come to london. We live 35 minutes north of London so it is easy to get there.

Gawd you make me feel old! I was 16 when the film came out. Still one of my favourites. Brian the brain is my fave character "Well, in physics we... we talk about physics, properties of physics"

Yes...London will be ace. I'll have my new bonnet by then so i can come dressed all fancy-like! woohoo!

Dan Arborise is playing at Green Note on July 19th...that would be nice if it happens to fit in with when we're going. He's a singer songwriter who was born in the jungle and does folky things with a guitar...I wanted to see him in Durham but didn't want to pay as much for the train as the gig!

"Could you describe the ruckus sir?"

I'm up for a meeting in Camden, yes! I am available the first two weekends in July, but after that, I'm going to be on my way to the USA. :)

I can't do a meet up in July because my mum will be here visiting from 3rd of July to about the 17th of July.

Can we do it in June?

I'd love to go, since I'll be in Bristol soon (and I've been meaning to go since I missed last year's), but I'll be leaving on the 4th... Bum.

Want to hang out in Bristol while I'm there (late May)?

There's a vegan burger place in Camden? Why on earth did I never notice this? I had some fabby falafel there recently though :hungry:

Camden would be a good place for me too, I can get a straight train ride to Marylebone and then it's one of the few places I can get to on the tube without winding up several stops away from where I intend to be

I have exams May 25th to the 20th of June, and then I'm on holiday for a week from the 9th of July :( If June turns out to be the best month though I could come up on a day when I don't have an exam, we all know students don't spend every day on study leave actually studying  Come to think of it, I spend most of mine watching Scrubs repeats, but anyhoo.

Shantih, I had to giggle at your Scrubs comment...I think that show is being aired every time we turn the TV on. Geez Louise. :p

I don't get it, what has Boston to do with IamJen in the UK... If there's info there on what she did to get here (in the UK) then which page is it?

(thanks....I think?? :p)

July is definitely the best for me (or August, August anyone?) but it sounds like it might be awkward. I have exams late June and if it's a weekend I'll still be working (I took all my holiday already), but I'm gonna leave my part-time job in the middle of July I think.

As far as meet-up goes:

OK not June 1-5 as we will be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary doing the spider field study. But after that in June looks ok for me right now. In July--after the 2oth--our school year ends that day so I am on summer hols until september.

I would really like to meet up....hoping we can get our schedules together.
