I have only tried the chocolate desserts, and I thought they had a wierd aftertaste! Our tastebuds must be very different!
I have looked in Morrisons (who do the yoghurts and chocolate soymilk), and the co-op, tesco & asda. Holland and Barrett wll probably sell them, but for more money. Haven't looked yet.

Morrisons do the chocolate soya milk?? I get their unsweetened soya milk, but haven't noticed the chocolate one. Is it with the chilled stuff?? I usually just add nesquik to my soya milk!
Do you ever go to the Almonds and Raisins HFS?

Yeah, they have it in with their normal flavoured milk. Sometimes they have a non-chilled version near the rice milk & lactose-reduced & long life milks. I tried adding strawberry nesquick to soya milk and it tasted horrible!

I've never been to Almonds & Raisins, I'm not even sure I could find it!

I always go to Almonds and Raisins, rarely Holland and Barrett. Do you know where the entrance to Newcastle library is? in a little square off Northumberland street? To the left of the entrance there's a ramp, go up there, and you'll see A and R up some steps to the left. It's a cafe too, they do some really yummy food. Take out some of their vegan chocy cake, it's gorgeous! I also love their sosmix rolls (like sausage rolls), vegan pasties and walnut scones!! :lick:

I'm like 99% certain that bisto gravy granules ( NOT bisto best) are vegan, i seem to remember it being in the animal free shopper. I used it a few years ago, but not recently so don't know if things have changed.

hehe. i don't read the labels as much as I used to. I got myself a cranks humoungously tasty sandwich today, and I looked at the ingredients after reading it, and it had all manner of sh*te in it! All that for a sandwich!! Still, it was bloody tasty,and I can see myself becoming addicted to them!

you should just give in to it Loki and make this your hobby and get us involved too, by listing all the e-numbers you eat :sick: or retreat on. ;) eek.

I just avoid the E numbers that stand for gelatine, cochineal etc...

When I was a kid my grandma told me to read the label on anything I bought and if there was an ingredient I didn't recognize, not to buy it as you should always know what you are eating. This is pretty good advice :D

So Boots sell at least one vegan sandwich now. I bought a carrot, houmous, alfalfa sprout, and watercress sandwich from there today, labelled vegan. It was quite nice :)

Mmmm that one sounds nicer actually. There was something in mine with quite a strong flavour, that i'd never tasted before, and i'm not quite sure i like it. Might have been the watercress? So i don't think i'll be getting that one again.
