In the UK, has the Subway Veggie Patty got tofu in it??

So I've been told :D
I like them both so far.

I've always liked physics and I got a B at GCSE and really enjoyed it. Physics is just logic wheras subjects like biology and chemistry are about learning complex names and memorising how chemicals react to each other. Physics is just about how the universe in general works. I particularly enjoyed learning the equations for GCSE because if you can understand them you can understand how the whole world works. Okay I am excited. I didn't do it at AS/A2 because I don't really have the maths skills for it.
But anyway...

Oh? It's just that i'm in Germany right now, and have been buying nice tofu items at the supermarket. Yesterday i went to the Subway here, and got a veggie patty, which was tofu. It was really nice, and i suspect it was vegan, like all their other tofu items in the supermarket. I wonder why the UK one isn't tofu/vegan, but the German one is??

I ordered online the new multivits Veg 1 from the Vegan Society. They arrived in a couple of days.
This is such a good idea - they've got 100% RDA of B2, B6, Folic acid, B12, D, Iodine, & Selenium.

They are apple flavoured and ok to chew unlike some vile pills I've had in the past. I forget how much it cost exactly but I ordered 2 x 90 days and it was about £11 including postage, which is cheap compared to HFS vits.

I'd recommend these for vegans.

Spud, thanks, might check out those VS vits I guess... How long can you chew on these before they dissolve?.....any other chewable vegan vits out there we know of? . . . . .oh and the VS ones, available only from VS are they? or in shops also?

But they have vitamin D in them?? or can you get a vegan version with no vit D?

hey lass, I'm not putting you off asking, but why in this case does vitaminD bother you, just curious, ya see I acknowledge caution that probably some forms or other types of vitaminD are usually not vegan I assume.
so conversely can somebody remind us what is okay?.....is it anolog or whatever they call it which is okay for a vegan, is that right?

Vitamin D comes from wool. I think when it's in the form of D2 or something, it's ok.

But if it's suitable for vegans, I doubt it the vitamin D will have been obtained from wool.

You can get vegan multivitamins from Tescos. I think I paid £1.50...

They're vegan, the D isn't D3.
HFS = Health food shop. I haven't timed their chewability yet! Maybe 2 minutes max.
These multivits have iodine and selenium. I had a hard time finding an iodine supplement. (Iodine lack causes thyroid problems- I have low thyroid and although 2 docs have told me it was caused by a virus not my diet I'm chewing away at my iodine)

You just missed a vegan fair in central London but the Vegan Society AGM is coming up if you are a member there and there will be a Christmas Without Cruelty Fair in central London in December.
