Yeah heh heh- we're on pennies- and the work isn't regular- but that's the TV/film industry for you. You earn silly amounts one way or the other. I think the team is bigger this year- but a budget smaller. The few episodes I have seen, seem to have a lot less people helping out.

If you happen to see the first one- look out for us jumping out of the van. It rained all day and all their stuff in the garden got wet. You could say they weren't very happy. I am painting the walls pink in the living room. I am the pale blonde in a red t shirt. The real designer is also called Kathryn,

PS- and yes the rug is horrible- but not my choice! I didn't dare ask if it was real- but it smelt it!

Ive just heard that a London gig has been announced. Tickets are going to go on sale this Friday morning, 10th Sept. The gig is for Saturday 18th December at Earl's Court. See http://www.nme.com/news/109791.htm

However, if you're a member of http://www.morrisseymusic.com/ then there is a presale on the morning of Wed, 8th Sept. No doubt it will sell out quick, despite being a massive venue.

I'm not going to go (famous last words). I went to the Morrissey gig in Blackpool last Saturday night, and it was FAB! :smitten:
But that makes it 4 times I've seen him this year, and my bank account can't take anymore! :dizzy:

I wasn't able to see Morrissey in blackpool, due to not having a ticket nor free time.

But I hear that he kicked ass, as usual. My brother got to see morrissey at the Leeds festival, which i also did not attend. (Bugger!)

Did anyone see me on 60 min? veganaconda didn't recognise me despite there being a close up of me. (normally us assistants are only in the background) I think I will be on the 21st and 23rd- the one on the 23rd I am wallpapering some shelves- badly. I had never wallpapered before!

Cheers Star Lass! My hair is fairly long- and move frizzy than curly! Was tied back. I had a red T shirt on!

I will be more noticable on the one on the 23rd as they filmed the designer and me as he "instructed" me to wallpaper. Also I was running around from room to room a lot!

Ive a question for you regarding nutritional yeast flakes (maybe it belongs in the Products thread, but it's a question for UK peeps).

Ive had the Marigold/Engevita brand before, and I really like it, but it doesnt contain B12. I know of an American-brand called Red Star that has B12 but havent yet found it here. Do any of you use nutritional yeast flakes that contain B12 - if so, whats the brand and where did you buy it?

Sorry don't use nutritinal yeast. I take a b12 supplement every now and then- and marmite.

Just letting people know I will be on 60 min again (last 2 times) it will be tuesday and thursday on ITV at 5pm. I am working in the living room on both. The first I have a black T shirt and you will probaly see me causing mischief and the last I have a red T shirt and I will be seen wallpapering a shelf! I tend to run from room to room in the last as they had to lay a carpet and install a fireplace!

Did anyone see Dispatches tonight??? It was called "The Dirty Meat Scandal". It was gross, nasty diseased meat being sold around the UK, and at one point it showed secret footage inside an illegal slaughterhouse, i had to turn it off at that point cos of the squeeling animals. I also know what "smokies" are now - slaughtered sheep blow-torched for a bbq flavour!! :sick:

So what will you be doing tonight? Painting or wallpapering? I've been pleasantly surprised with the make-overs in the new series, some really good ones. I liked that sort of ethnic one the other week with the net over the bath tub.

Painting the living room in green. Not really my colour- but still! The people whose house it was were the twins in the st Trinnions films. One of them thought she recognised me of the show. (though I hadn't been on the air at that point) anyway a couple of really nice women.

I've just saw tonight's makeover. I think i saw you, were you wearing a red t-shirt, and your hair is long, blonde and wavy?? Did you wallpaper the shelves with a weird swirly, leafy, wallpaper?, hand someone a screwdriver?, have a role of tape around your wrist?, and at the end when everyone was waving, were you sitting on the van, next to a guy in an orange t-shirt??

I believe you saw me! I haven't watched this one myself yet (I was out late) Tape on the hand is a very me thing (ooh bangle) My parents also said something about me finding a screw driver. I did wallpaper and I did sit at the top of the van. (the guy next to me recently put a chisel through his hand and ended up in A + E) Not sure if the "public" are supposed to know that.
