I've just moved to west london, but I'm on the underground so anywhere is fine. I'd love to meet up with people!

Well, I'm in south london, but like Black Heart, I'm near to the tube so I'm happy to head anywhere within zone 6 lol.
Would anyone be up for meeting in Camden? Maybe the World's End (generally ok music but quiet enough to talk)

The World's End is fine with me. If it's ok with everyone else - when?

Does anyone know where I can find any vegan online shops that ship to the UK and accept cheques? I've already found veganstore.co.uk. Or even any vegan shops near to or around glasgow? Thanks :D

Worlds end is fine for me- though we would have to arrange which part- it's pretty big in there- very easy to find for those who don't know it. Someone said about meeting on the 29th...

Loki - okay, so ive backtracked and now think i may go to see Morrissey in Blackpool on the 4th sept afterall (i know a guy who i can get a ticket from). I have a quick question - do you know what the venue is like (did you see the white stripes there?) and how far away is it from the train station? Thanks.

ps. Mozza has recently announced further dates, in Liverpool and Preston. Crazy times.

The station you will be wanting is Blackpool North. This is basically the blackpool station, which will take you just to the edge of blackpool town centre, and it's across the road to the wilkinson store.

Blackpool is a damn tiny place, or at least the north side of it is, so it shouldn't be too hard to find. All you need to do is leave the train station, and head towards the sea along talbot road, and then turn left at the crossroads onto abingdon street. he venue is the empress Ballroom, which is a really cool place. It's in a building called the winter gardens, which is at the end of abingdon street. The empress ballroom is quite rustic, and pretty old. It was originally, and still is a ballroom. However, ballrooms aren't as popular as they once were, so now it gets used for other functions. It's quite a small place, and it's a good place to watch a band, or at least it was good to watch the white stripes there.

Don't worry though, blackpool is tiny, and if you ask anyone, they should be able to tell you where it is. Or alternatively, when I last went to manchester to watch the chili peppers, I decided to go to piccadilly station, and follow a bunch of people to the venue. (It was quite a walk!!!!) If you do follow some other people, most people should know wher the winter gardens is, so you can always ask them.

I've been past the winter garden- it seems pretty central. Never went in- so wouldn't know any more than that. It was a pretty big building so you shouldn't miss it

The 29th would suit me as I am in London anyway, what do people think about meeting at Worlds end Camden Sunday the 29th August?

Weren't the Chilli Peppers on at the M.E.N? You would have saved a lot of walking time if you'd have gone to Victoria! :P

Good for me, as long as its the evening or late afternoon.

'Twas man city's footy ground. Well, it was a f**king huge open air stadium which happened to have Manchester City written all over it.

It was good fun though, and the chicks on speed got booed off. It's a shame though. If the crowd was a little more stoned, they would have gone down quite well, I think. And then James brown and the chilis came on.

So is anyone meeting up on the 29th- should we set a time? I can come down straight from work- that would be anytime around 5-6pm? Also how will we spot each other?

Well guess the meet up never happened! Anyway for those of us in the UK- if anyone is interested you can see me on TV on ITV on wed sept 8th at 5pm. Doing 60 minute makeover. I am painting the living room hot pink! Yes and the rug is horrible- but what can you do?

I'm only a design assistant. So basically the important people shout at me to do stuff. It's pretty fun- but badly paid!

Its so strange you've mentioned that cos when i was watching it this morning i was wondering how much they got payed. I can imagine the main designer gets a lot though, as well as Claire Sweeney.
