haha yay! I think that was my fault, I was willing us to lose to get everybody back for being so horribly football-ruled, I mean honestly. :bobo:
My brother ha snoticed that the referee of that game has a website. He also tells me that he's taken down the "feedback" setion on his website.
Whatever would possess him to do this?

That game was the most stressful 2+ hours I've spent in a long time. Plus I was stuck at work, unable to scream about it..cause no one else cared.

yeah we lost but i am not that sad during the game i asked whether we were the reds or the white  yeap not to good with footy but hey at least we can get back to normal before the next world cup.
as my cousin put it
"whats so good about a game where men chase a piece of leather around a field :sheep:
hes only 7 but hey
ps it would still have been nice if we could have won
my mum puts it like that. She said "What's so good about 22 men chasing after a ball" so I said "It's that simplicity which makes it a good game.
Did anyone go the the Vegan Fair in Kensington at the weekend? I haven't logged on to here in a while as I was away or I would have reminded people.

The request for veg. catering helpers has gone to the activism thread ...
I love the UK. I'm American and went over there with my husband on a tour that he had booked in April (he plays banjo) and had a fantastic time. UK folk are so nice. We were in Leeds and Edinburgh. I want to live in Scotland.
I have such terrible cravings for Walker's Salt and Vinegar Crisps, I can't even tell you. I know they're bad for me, but heck, they taste good!
crisps? Bad for you?
Nope! Just be glad you didn't have any seabrooks crisps. They're way better than walkers! You'd be craving them then! I love seabrooks crisps. It's all the faults of seabrooks which make it cool, like how it says "PLEASE STRONG AVOID LIGHT" and how since they don't foil-package them, they say you can "See what you buy!" But then again, if seabrooks ever do go foil packaged, I probably won't get them anymore.

omigod..spooky. Only this afternoon have i had my one and only ever conversation about Seabrooks Crisps...me and a workmate had like a ten minute conversation about how great they are...Mmmmm crisps.
seabrooks definitely are britain's tastiest crisps, and it's the no-nonsense approach that makes them so cool. Whilst walkers and pretty much every other crisp maker in the land have opted for the foil packaging, and/or updated their packaging a lot in recent years, seabrooks are pretty much the same as they were back in the day: No foil packaging, and the only change i think there is is the "See what you buy" motto on the top, (If I remember rightly - I don't really have an old packet of seabrooks at hand.) which I think is a really cool slogan, which pokes fun at those foil-packaged crisps.
I could eat seabrooks forever. They absolutely rule! And if they ever change their packaging, I'll be the first one to complain. Especially if it's foil packaging.

Hello everybody :hi:
Just found this site tonight-it's great!
I am a New-Zealander married to a wonderful Englishman. I live in Coventry and work in Wellingborough.
I am in my 20s and I have been a vegetarian since I was very young- I grew up on a farm and it was my own decision to become vegie(family all meat-eaters)
Its lovely to see so many other vegetarians in England.
Hey mrs chimpy! welcome to VB!
