whats happened to Veggcore??

Loki

I was kinda wondering what happened to veggcore. She's gotta log in sometime soon. her curiousity must be getting the better of her! I hope she's coming as well. (Looks liek there's 5 of us so far.)

I can't wait until 8th May. 'Tis going to be cool. And if there's a starbucks nearby, I gotta try that falafel wrap. The mere word "falafel" is good enough marketing to make me want it!!!!

I'm hoping for some cool stuff at this vegan festival anyway! I don't know exactly what to expect, but if it's cool, I'm in!

I'm here I'm here! I'm still coming! But I've lost sight of any arrangements that have been made...fill me in please!

Loki

w00t!!! it's veggcore!!!Basically, the arrangements so far are that we meet on 8th may at manchester piccadilly, outside the wh smiths shop near the front entrance. natalie's greeting everyone, so she'll be there 9:30ish, if she's feeling kind, and you're welcome to join her. Myself, and anyone else, will be arriving between 9:30 and 10:00 possibly, and then once we are all together, we can go to the festival, using the environmentally conscious travel method known as walking. If there's a starbucks on the way, we could possibly get a falafel wrap, or at least I would want to, as well as purplegrrl.

The aim is to get to the vegan festival at 10:30am. once there, if we can rig the enemy base with explosives, we'll be sorted. Alternatively, we can browse and pose for photos to go on the VB photo section, for everyone else to be jealous about.

And in the afternoon, it's been proposed that we sample some of the culinary delights that manchester has to offer. ideally, this could be arranged by natalie and veggcore, who may have knowledge of good vegetarian restaurants that aren't that far away from tib street. Once we're there, we can eat some good food, and then after that, we see what else we can do. If there's a HSBC nearby, I'll remember to bring my gun, so I can make a speedy cash withdrawal, so we can have a seedy night with hookers. Alternatively, I could use a cashcard to gain access to my money, and a bar or pub may be better than a brothel.

The
gig site is a "must see" (http://www.satanshollow.net) just for the devilishly beautiful graphics intro and interface.

Funny though how a confirmed bands website is failing though: You all try...

I'm originally from the North (Southport, on the coast near Liverpool) but have lived in London for about 7 years. You just kind of end up here and then end up not leaving. I've got a flat now, and a job, and two cats, so there you are. It's not all that bad though, I surprised myself by finding I actually quite enjoy living here...
And it's pretty easy to be veggie. You can really be anything you want here an no-one will bat an eyelid.

Tell us if you will a thing or two about what living in Southport was like if you want vikster! :)

I know the feeling about ending up in one place, I've been stuck where I am for 8 years now and I am way overdue for a change of location!

Even I might move to London and I'm considering it as of this moment, but I'm somewhat more inclined to go live "on Or near" the midsouthcoast as I call it, but if I did up and leave for London which regions or boroughs do you best consider to be livable and decent enough to move to???
